I apologize for the bump.
is there any way to decrypt the .iso on pc nowadays? just ripped my copy of ratchet and clank tod and its not playing along, I dont feel like ripping it once again from my ps3 and then transferring it over as its size is 21gb+.

On PS3 read the disc key or download it from the internet and You will be able to decrypt this image. There are plenty of threads on forum about this, use search option and You will find procedure and tools. Even last month as I remember correctly...

Yes, there is a "magic". The 3k3y team solved it using an adaptor that allow you to connect the PS3 BD Drive on PC. It's because every PS3 disc has it's own D1 / D2 ("data1/data2"?) used to decrypt the disc. The 3k3y team also created a new file format, called IRD, that has all the file's hashs of a PS3 disc and, it also contains the D1 / D2.
Redump did something like this, but more simple: the file only stores the key to decrypt the disc.
Finnaly, the developer 13xforever created an app to dump the PS3 Disc to the "JB folder format", using the IRD or Redump files to decrypt it.
