Greetings all,
It is about time for a site update on the hard work MTV staff has been doing to keep our little piece of the Internet alive. We will start with the bad news; we have still had silence from our system admin. This is troubling to everyone because he has done so much for MTV and if it was at all possible he would not just leave us in limbo.
Now for the good news, we had a known, experienced tracker developer reach out to offer support. Given our policy on being transparent with our users, we would like to take this time to fully explain our current position and leave it to the users to decide on our destiny. The developer is offering to spin up a new site, maintain the infrastructure and offer long-term support. If we go ahead with this new developer we would need to move to a new domain, should the current system admin return then we would be able to use both domains.
Now for our users, we offer our sincere apologies for our current state as we do all try our best to keep things as stable as possible. Now that we have a way to move forward we want you to decide how we proceed, to that end we've created a poll so please make sure you vote! Once we have a clear consensus we will continue our work on MTV’s future.
